IAMSA Basic Production Planning and Control Training (PPC)
“Basic Production Planning and Control Training,” has been introduced to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of key concepts in production planning and control. This two-day program is designed to equip participants with foundational insights into critical topics like forecasting, inventory management, and lean production principles.
Course Objectives
The training aims to provide participants with a solid grasp of production planning and control fundamentals without overwhelming them with excessive detail. It also introduces participants to essential industry references.
Program Structure
The training duration 16 hours, exclusively in a classroom setting, combining lectures, interactive discussions, and case studies. The assessment includes a written examination with multiple-choice questions, requiring a minimum score of 70% to pass. Daily progress is also evaluated through active participation in discussions.
Entry Requirements
The course is primarily intended for individuals proficient in English, possessing basic aeronautical knowledge, and with at least three years of experience in aircraft maintenance. Participants who meet these criteria will receive a certificate categorized as “successfully completed the training.” Those who do not meet the requirements may still attend and receive a certificate labeled “as attendance of the training.”
